This is for the noobs. (If your post count is over 500 or 5 years old)
I'm "paying it forward" with parts and documents.
When the weather clears there will be more items in the FS section.

Safety Car
Of course you have seen pictures of mine acquired in July 2016. This is what I have done so far. It is a big project (at least for me). And ongoing. However, I am a compulsive typer so my post count is getting high. By the end of summer 2020, it should be done.
1. New rear bearings.
2. Had the stripes painted on.
3. Harness bar.
4. Camber brace
5. New wheels
6. Interior work
7. New front spoiler
8. DeWitts dual core radiator
9. went through the brake system
10. stainless flex lines
These are the parts I have bought and have here at the house. As soon as I have acquired the rest, I will start tearing the car apart. I am getting it all so I can do it all at once.
1. complete Banski rear suspension
2. Banski pin top shock mounts
3. New Bilsteins
4. New American Racing Headers
5. Trickflow GenX 185 heads
6. Comp Cams full roller steel 1.6:1 rockers
7. LT4 Hot Cam
8. MSD 6 box
9. roller timing chain
10. powder coated intake
11. Global West del-alum front bushings
12. the remainder of the bushings not included in 1 and 11
13. Dana 44 rear end/batwing/driveshaft/c-beam
14. c-beam plates
15. convertible x-brace
16. various pieces of new weatherstripping
17. ARP head bolts
18. new universals for drive and half shafts
19. LT4 knock module
20. spark plug wires
Need to acquire:
1. new or rebuilt harmonic balancer
2. injectors
3. gaskets and seals
4. new front bearings, there is a vibration (the bearings were the result of sitting for so long, car now has 19K, had 12K when bought in 2016)
Of course I am going to have to eventually do the transmisson. when I do, it will be upgraded to 4L70E specs.

My 84 I acquired a couple months ago. 69k original miles, 500 miles on a crappy rebuilt engine with a rod knock. Will soon be dropping in a good low-mileage crate 350 along with a more aggressive cam and new lifters. Maybe some intake mods. Love this Vette, and looking forward to more repairs and mods in the near future!
I initially joined in 2010 to inquire about my friend's 82 Vette that I work on. He is a Vietnam Veteran, and a neighbor of mine. His 82 has less than 40k original miles, but needed lots of work when he first got it from being parked for many years. Looking forward to cruising with him and his wife. They have a total of three Corvettes.

Start by listing the rag for $220 on Ebay!
I'm joking. I would keep it forever just as a memory some stranger sent it on good will and karma.
