Default Erasing troubles codes on a 1995 Vette...

I think my 43 trouble code is going to a loose connection and was wondering how you erase the code after I fix it. I know it has something to do with the trip meter but I actually have no idea..haha. I need to ask the pros here, and thanks for putting up with all my questions.

Disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds or so will erase the codes. Then, after reconnecting the battery, the old (legacy) stuff will be cleaned and anything that still "pops up" are not old stuff'; they're indicating faults registered since reconnecting the battery.

Will pulling the ECM Fuse do the same thing, w/o erasing all the setup parameters?

So after properly grounding terminal 12 from the DLC and using the DIC buttons in the correct mode is your DTC 43 gone? I'd think you could have maybe better explained in your 1st post exactly where you were.
