Judging from the pictures and the auction description I'd say you did okay. The biggest obvious issue is the paint. I'd try buffing it out, you might be surprised how well it could possibly come out. Check the date codes on the tires, they show the front ones in the pics and the tread looks okay but I wouldn't be surprised if they're old enough to need replacement. If it were me I'd check and fix any safety issues and just drive the heck out of it.

I'd say you did well. You got a running, driving, overall good condition car with 300hp for under 5 grand. Moreover, you got many miles and hours of smiles. Certainly there will be a few bumps in the road, but thats why it was 5k and not 55k for a new Corvette.

Has a nice inside, not unreasonable miles. It runs and you can drive it. Needs paint, but it's not horrible.

Not sure why the link was removed, I thought that was odd too. OP won an ebay auction for a 92 automatic coupe, $4,600. 88,500 miles, green over tan, the paint is pretty rough but otherwise the pictures look pretty good. Interior in good shape with just a little minor wear on the drivers seat bolster.
