Default Took old crispy out for a quick drive today

The weather was great (70F and sunny in North TX) and I got off of work early, so I decided to drive the old 88 for a bit and play with the gopro overlays.

Is anyone else using a GoPro hero? I'm looking for some different "stickers" (speed reading, etc).

I hope I wasn't the only one out enjoying this beautiful weather...

It's just an old 88 coupe that's about as light as I can get it, on some sticky tires, with a procharger and a carburetor.

Way to enjoy your (moded) C4.

Rowed through a few gears in the '89 too.

Thinking of hooking mine up in the Vette. Haven't used it in a few years as I've been into DSLR's .

That's a pretty fast 88.

Used a base go pro a few yrs back with none of the goodies, wind noise was a pita to overcome.
WasOk for walkaround clips, interior mounts but never got the filter to mount it outside to get accurate sound under power, too bad

Have a procharger on my 93 6spd.

Car looks fun.

I assume you have it bare bones inside for weight?

What gears? Seem lower than stock to me.

Any pics? Cool ride. I've always had fuel injected toys, but I've seen my dad make carbs rock n roll. Cool.

The 4+3 has been holding up, but I know it wont last forever.

I have a black tag ZF6 with a McLeod twin disc waiting to go in. I just need time to get it done.

Do you still have the overdrive portion hooked up?

Yes, and it had seen quite a few WOT upshifts with the clutch depressed. That's the only reason it's still alive.

The car made 460rwhp/450tq before. I've added another 4psi boost, leaned it out from 10.5:1 to 11.5:1AFR and added 4° timing plus a 100 shot. There is no telling how much power it is making now.
