All things considered would you buy another C4?

All things considered would you buy another C4?
I swear every time I crawl in and out of mine I question whether I should have bought a C5 or C6 but then I get settled into my " fighter jet like interior " and I feel right at home.
Mine is a convertible and when I try to find room to put away any type of luggage I again dream of the trunk in the C5 and C6 but then I step back and look at the wonderful top down profile of the C4 and I just cannot help but smile.
I often ride in one of my friends C5 or C6 and love the smooth and powerful LS engines but then I drive my manual LT1 and just love the way I feel engaged in the complete driving experience of the C4.
So all things considered if something were to happen to my '95 C4 it would be really tough not to buy another one. How about the rest of you, all things considered would you buy another C4?

I'm planning on buying a C5 convertible eventually. Not to replace my c4 convertible but to enjoy a trunk, more room and easier getting in and out.
But the final reason is I bought a new house which has a real paved driveway now so I can actually get a C5 in and out of my driveway.
Would I buy another C4 to do over again..... Probably not but I need to actually have some time with a C5 to decide for sure.

but then when i look at ‘some ‘ of the snobby types of people buying a new corvette (quick to put down the c4 as inferior ) - I dont want one.
ive seen so many insults thrown at c4’s here - even on the front page of corvette forum, that i dont want any other corvette than a c4 .
So for me its c4 or viper, camaro ss, etc.
i break from the corvette line after c4.

The thing that first sold me on the C4 was when I slid into that that "fighter jet" cockpit feel, like it was built just for me.
Got the 1st '88, a 35th Anni. in 2000 and its replacement 6yrs ago.
About 2mo ago I picked up the latest addition, an '89 MN6 vert, and freakin' love it.
If anything happens to either of these I will pick up another C4 to replace it.

The only C4 I would want and actively look for is an LT4.
As trouble free as my 96 was I always worried when I took it on long trips, or should I say it was always in the back of my mind it could break down. However when I got the 09 it really never occurred to me again, and I drove it everywhere.

the convertible’s trunk in the c5 and up is the only feature i wish i had.

Another C4? Well, we've got two now:, both Zs. So, to trade for or purchase another C4 Z is not likely. I might get another Z, but would keep the ZR-1s.

Hell, I want one right now. A 93,4 or 5 ZR-1 would be a nice addition to my 90 ZR-1
Maybe down in the southern states where the weather is always nice, there are a bunch of C4's..... but around here, theyre far and few between especially in good condition. I love being the only C4 at the Sunday breakfast cruise in, or car show. I thnk we had around 450 cars at our annual car show last year. 3 were C4's. One was a ZR-1... mine.

I did. I have had a 1991 steel blue automatic, a 1992 black rose coupe, and now have a 1991 turquoise coupe 6 speed, supercharged. I also had a 2002 Z06 and now have a 2000 convertible, automatic.
I owned the Z06, 1991 6 speed and 2000 convertible at the same time and they are all totally different from each other to drive. I liked them all.

I won't buy another C4 mostly because I'm lucky to own an LT4 Although with the recent crazy pricing drops of the C7 I've been getting closer and closer to grabbing one, end of the day I do like the advancements in technology, plus the knees are not what they once were and the C4 is tough to get out of some days.

I have had 7 C4's and 2 C5's. I liked them all, but they are different.
Yes. I would buy another C4. The last two Corvettes I bought were C4's ('95 6M & '96 6M)
Right now I am at my limit with 2 C4's and 1 C5, but if I get to a point where I don't have one, Yes I would buy another C4. I like the way they drive. To me they are fun. I can't imagine not having a C4. I have had at least one for over 30 years.

Absolutely. On the merits, a C5 is probably a better choice for a variety of reasons and it is hard to argue against them. They all make perfect sense from a technical standpoint.
But they're ugly. I don't like them. I don't want one.
Frankly, if it wasn't a C4 it would be older. Like a late production C3.

Agree, this is really the only place I ever hear trash talk on the C4! And yes, I’d get another one, either lt1 or lt4 with 6 spd.

Some days perhaps, right car right price if I decided I wanted a knock around cruiser...I wouldnt spend anything trying to make it sound or look fast though its just not worth it.

I would buy another 95 or maybe a 96. Nothing older unless it was an absolute give-away.
I really liked my C4 a lot. I was stress free in that car. Less worry about where I drove and where I parked.
