84 vette clutch Master cylinder CAN'T REPLACE
I have trouble shot my clutch problem with the
pedal offering high resistance and suddenly snapping to NO RESISTANCE
after 20 years of indoor storage to the master cylinder.
With help pumping the pedal with fluid line
off and my finger across the output All I was
getting was a tiny bit of vacuum/pressure no matter
how fast it was being pumped.
After 4 days of trying to get the left 13 mm bolt out of
the firewall I can now release the cylinder but it
is still attached to the clutch pedal.
I have removed the plastic under dash panel
but there is no way to see the piston pin release
clip.I tried to move my hand up the pedal and firewall
but I can't get up to the connection.
There are a nest of factory wires blocking
the top area of the pedal.
I am going to take out the drivers seat to see if
it is possible to lay under the dash, but
I fear it hopeless.
HOW DO I GET TO THE CLIP?.
