Nice...thats what I call low mi...and collectible.

Id be the idiot if funds allowed that would drive it as much as possible
Get some fluids, tires, seat covers and mats. Its sat long enough

Nothing cooler than running around in 2019 in a brand new 96!! New cars have 0 appeal I dont care how fast they can be
Invest in your happiness, cars are just a tool to get there some days.

Aftermarket special. Haven't seen one for sale in a catalogue in over 15 years.

I'd be driving it to! Agreed, something about the older stuff that is more appealing than new stuff. With that said, I do love my dad's 17 GS 7 manual trans.

I bet it wont sell. BaT buyers only want weird euro crap cars, they dont pay good money for vettes. Give them a base 996 in an ugly color, with an IMS about to blow and yheyll throw money at it though. Or a brown bmw stick i6bwagon.

I agree! There was a 7k mile 96 GS on there last week, or two weeks ago. NCRS certification, went for $32k. On the low side, IMO. But yeah, euro cars bring a lot. Even some boring euro cars.

The site is called "bring a trailer".... Not really the place I think to go looking for collectors and show cars that are being listed with the intent of getting rich off of. Clearly there are cases, but overall to me I picture budget deals or projects that would fit under that title and meaning bring a trailer and cash t haul it away. Maybe it will sell at a premium.

I have a 96 LT4 and think it SHOULD have something to externally ID it.

Damn that thing is nice. There is nothing like that around here. Not that year, not that nice and not that built. Even at car shows I don't see them, A guy at work has a couple and one similar to that but it is actually a project that drives and has a weak 454 in it. You have a real nice ride! A Z is cool, but you got rid of it for a reason, plus you know yourself it is not that different from a regular c4.

Bring a trailer hasn't had project type cars for many years. They do mostly European cars and lots of porsches specifically.

Honestly, having an LT4 badge makes it a wannabe LT5/ZR-1.

They still do sell project cars. But most are valuable cars, like an E Type Jag.

I feel like projects are like 1 in 25 on them.

I also have a '96 LT4, and don't think one belongs there.

Correct. But nonetheless, they still sell them. So BaT was project cars at first?
