C4 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Default MY C4 "PROJECT" update

It's been a while, been out in the garage all winter literally whittling away at the car. Trying to "design as I go". It's been a lot of trial and error. Still have to fit the windshield in and the wheel openings. It's not going to be a woody, it's just a mold for fiberglass.
Let me know what you think. It's not modeled after any particular car.

FRONT

REAR

that guy in the back never offered me any of that

What is the goal? Are you going to create a fiberglass body from this mold, and attach it to your C4? Any concerns about wiring, lighting, etc.? Also, legal for road use or show car only?

Well... This takes the cake, even for a C4.

Nice work though, seriously.

yes, it's a mold. I plan on wiring it with a new harness, the old stuff was cut with a sawzall when they cut the body panels. Kind of a ground up, bare bones build, no computer, old school gauges and a carburetor.

Is it a mold, or is it a plug that you will use to pull a mold off of? Gonna need some more draft if it's the latter.

When I saw Larry Graff, the owner of Aspen Power Catamarans build the hull plug for his newest model 40' yacht, it looked pretty much like that, strips upon strips of wood..... and lots and lots of Bondo!!

I am always amazed and a bit jealous of people with this kind of talent. I can’t even imagine where to start a project like this.

Looks like an MG / front of C1, and other 50's T bird stuff mixed with an old jeep body.

The front needs shaping sure.

LOL, no it is truly art. Not many can do what you have already done let alone start to make it in to a finished detailed piece. I was kidding with the family truckster.
