94 head unit issue - CD & Cassette not working
Good Morning Everyone,
When I bought my 94 C4 the previous owner told me the Cassette and CD player didn't, which wasn't an issue. Now that I have driven it for a month or so now, local radio is getting real annoying. (I have satellite in all my vehicles)
head unit: Delco/Bose Gold Series
The CD deck does not accept a CD what so ever, doesn't even try to grab it and no "err message" pops up. The cassette deck does the same thing.
Is their a fuse specially for the CD and Cassette decks or is one fuse for the whole head unit? Any ideas what could be wrong?
I am just curious as I would like to have everything function as from factory, (this is the only thing that doesn't work) not looking to spend anything major to fix this issue. As I am going to be buying the MP3ME unit so I can plug in my phone, eventually.
Not interested in putting in a 2019 head unit, I like to keep everything era correct.

I use one of these in my car that has the bose gold radio. Its bluetooth, it works extremely well. You hook it up bluetooth to your phone, or mp3 player it then broadcasts the signal to your radio. It also has a jack for a device that is not bluetooth compatible. Only $25.
