Default Anyone have experience with the repro steering wheels?

I see them all over ebay, wondering if anybody has purchased one, if so any feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you, just what I wanted to hear.

I came across a old post where some repro wheels were coming apart post-install and got a bit concerned.

Mine seems to have quite a bit of flex to it.

I've got a wheelskins cover on the oem wheel right now but I'd rather just have a new wheel all together.

How much did we talking?

Any other feedback?

I think I bought mine from Ecklers. No issues so far and it's been on the car for 3 years.

The flex on mine is very noticeable. I can’t really put a number on it but I have a tendency to drive with one hand at 12oclock and it flexes enough that I can constantly feel it. I have not had a failure of the wheel and it looks great. The maker I’m sure used a much thinner frame than stock

I got one from Corvette Central. It's the thicker version (stock for 86+ I believe) since my 85 was real thin. I've had it on for about 5 years now and been real happy with it. Car hasn't been riven much though if that makes a difference.
