Default Calm Air air deflector

Anyone have any experience with an inexpensive air deflector for a C4 Vert? Looked at Calm Air but says for 98 and up cars. Wonder if one of those would fit.Sport seats in my 40thAnn. vert--- have same seat backs. I'll deal with wind before I spend $400 dollars for a plexiglass one!

I also have a vert. and was thinking that a piece of carpet cut to form and attached to the leading edge of the deck lid with Velcro would help keep air out of the luggage area cutting down turbulence in the cabin, but haven't tried it yet.

At what speeds are you guys getting objectionable wind blast from your verts??

I've driven the '89 vert on local roads at 55mph with no noticeable wind blast.

Mine isnt really bad, just interested in less wind noise for radio and passenger conversation. Like the looks of the Calm air but not sure I can make one fit- they say they fit 98 and up but the seat back tabs look the same?????

Default Calm Air

Spoke with a tech at Ecklers and ordered one for my 93. The seat back tabs are the same. Going to try and if not a fit will send back. If this works,it would be a good inexpensive alternative to the $3-400 options Will report back if anyone is interested

Default Calm Air

Received the Calm Air deflector today from Ecklers. This was made for 98-2013 cars. My 93 with sport seats has similar tab on the seat back.. However, the tab is almost flush and the loop on the deflector didn't fit over to secure it. I placed a small piece of wire over the tab and the loop on the deflector hooked on. Very simple. For $68 was able to reduce air at far less than the available pieces for $300-400

Does that hinder your rear view mirror effectiveness?

Default calm air

Here are pics of Calm Air. Subtle difference noticed, radio easier to hear and passenger conversation a bit better. I need to adjust tension to bring up higher but ok for now.
