Default New way to say "Hi"?

Every Sunday morning, I take my young daughter over to see her grandmother in my '86. Today, upon leaving as I pulled out onto the main road I saw a car in my rear view, about a 1/4 mile off. I could tell it wasn't something pedestrian, but couldn't make out exactly what it was. About 10 seconds later and a few hundred yards down the road, I found out. In no time, there was a C7 filling up the entire rear view mirror. It's quite the menacing looking car, I'll give it that. He rode quite close to me for about two miles and then tossed a wave at me when I turned off on a side road. On one hand he came up hard and quick. On the other, its cool to be acknowledged in my old "passe" C4 by a newer Corvette owner. Now I want a C7 too, darn it, lol.

Good to see a decent C7 owner. Never gotten a wave from a C7. Actually this year has been the worst for waves I think. I have passed multiple C4's, C5's, C6's, and C7's and have yet to get a single wave. Insane.

Yeah, its the first wave I've gotten from a C7 owner ever. Not only did he recognize my old C4, but hustled to get a closer look.

I work with a C7 (Z06) owner. When I first got my 92 he wanted to sit in it, he had never been in a C4.

Ran into one in the grocery store parking lot we talked for about ten minutes. Never any of the better than you attitude some say they get.

Honestly I felt more looked down upon back in the 80's when I had a 79, and it was from the C2 crowd.

Before I knew about the "wave", some old lady in a yellow C7 waved at me.as we were taking interstate splits. So, my first Corvette wave was a C7.
