I also have it as does my whole family of 6 and its a breeze. Must be different for everyone!
That seems to be exactly right. Half my team has had it and some are not that bad while others have said it was the worst they've ever felt. Get well soon guys.
My wife and I just waited 2.5 hours to get swabed up the nose. Grandchild came home sick last week from school before Christmas break. I have just cold symptoms with cough, runny nose, congestion. No fever or loss of taste and smell. Slightly run down. My wife feels worse than I do and she had her booster shot. I just had the two vaccines . So I'm not fully vaxed . If you do get it . As you are twice as likely to than a common cold stay hydrated. The practioner who examined us asked if I had lung issues or tightness of the chest after listening to me. I've never had any lung or breathing issues ever. She said I was weezing , but was oxygenated well at 98 %. Wife was better at 100% . This would be the new variant if indeed we have it. I don't go out much myself not like I did when I was working. Grandkids going to school and wife working. Her office has had quite a few out with it. Granddaughter got sick first then me.
Hope you get to feeling better soon My wife and i both had it around Halloween She felt bad a couple of days I was in the hospital twice with it Wouldn't wish this on anyone
Several years ago my friend asked his kid's doctor how they are always around sick kids and don't get sick themselves. The doc told him at the slightest sign of getting sick he would take a sinus and cold med. Most people wait until they have full blown symptoms and its too late. Just the slightest tickle in the throat or that slight bit of nasal congestion. I have followed this advice since and haven't gotten full blown sick. Plenty of times I have gotten that slight tickle in the throat and started taking meds and haven't been sick.
Wife appears to be on the tail end of it, she was very sick last week, I think the fact that she had both shots plus a booster was what helped pull her through, so far I have tested negative, nasty nasty stuff.
Wife and kid just got over it. The wife brought it home from work and the kid may or may not have got it from her or from school. Somehow I escaped it even though I was living in 'ronaland with them. We're all vaxxed although the wife was overdue for a booster, so they were mild cases with minimal side effects.
I attribute my resistance to alcohol. As I tell the wife, when they go to give you that shot they don't swab the site with chicken soup. She says it's BS, but I think the results speak for themselves and I'm not taking any chances.

Yeah, see post 10: "The doc told him at the slightest sign of getting sick he would take a sinus and cold med." There are several sinus and cold meds to choose from - Captain Morgan, Jack Daniels, Jose Cuervo....
My test results say negative . It's a bad cold that is lingering . They say to continue to isolate anyway. It's really in my chest with lots of coughing . I suppose my wife will be negative also. I figured we would be the ones to just have a regular cold and not the next strain .

I am hearing that from everywhere. Relatives in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, numerous relatives and friends here in western NY, and my wife. Enough symptoms that you get worried and go get tested, but no, it's not COVID, not the flu, just a bad cold with very long-lingering coughing. My wife started feeling it in TN about the 8th, we came home as planned the 10th and it got a lot worse. Only in the last couple days has she really started to feel normal again. Hang in there, you'll be fine.
Postive I got mine from a "caregiver" that I mistakenly opened my home to. Everyone in her house had it but downplayed it til I met them. Yep all had covid
Week after she moved in I got it knocked me down real hard.
With my medical issues, copd etc if I can get over it then most should. I wouldnt get too wrapped up about it.
My 93 mother in law, 87 year old father, my wife and myself were exposed to covid 2020 March by my father's hospice bath aide. We quarantined for three weeks just to be sure. No one got sick. So thankful. The hospice worker spent 3 weeks in ICU and lost forty pounds. My mother in law has since passed away. My wife and I now have had all three shots and my father two. My wife and I feel like we have a small cold since the booster shots yesterday.
