Default 89 unplugged wire

I opened my hood today to check the fluids and noticed the top of my new serpentine belt was scuffed up. Found a unplugged wire managed to get caught between water pump pulley and belt which scuffed the belt and ground down the electrical connection as per the picture. I checked my entire engine in front and don’t see any unplugged sensors. As you can see from picture, the wire comes out a plastic sleeve with 2 wire connectors. 1 of the wires goes to the air pump valve. The other is the one that’s disconnected. Can anyone with an 89 or 88 take a look at theirs and let me know. Only thing I can think of is that my car as per door sticker was built 8/88 and this unplugged connector went to that thermo switch that activates that 9th fuel injector during cold start which the 89’s don’t have. I have no check engine light on so I doubt a sensor is disconnected. The wire connector is a 2 wire plug- Pink with a black stripe, the other wire is Black with a pink or purple stripe.

No idea either. Hoping someone with an 89 can take a pic of their engine. My EGR solenoid has the wire attached to it. I can’t see if I have a sensor under the plenum in front near throttle body.

I think this car might be missing an Air Divert Valve. I only have 1, maybe there should be 2. I got an 88 Corvette shop manual and those color wires is for this valve. Can anyone with an 89 see if there are 2 Air Divert Valve next to each other.

Here's an older thread that should answer all of your questions. Maybe?

An eBay search for 17088106 should get you reasonably good images of how it should be!
