Didja Buy That First Vette to Meet Chicks?
Time to confess. During the mid 60's the coolest cars were the Corvettes. I ran with some buds who had a 64 Olds 442, a 66 Mustang 2+2, and a suparcharged Avanti. I myself had a beautiful gold 63 Impala 327 with a Hurst. We had fun and did OK but the Corvettes ruled. So I saved my $ for a downpayment and bought one. I must confess that I did not buy it for its performance and handling but only as a babe magnet. Anyone out there with some cute stories? My favorite is the time I came out of a McDonalds to find two girsl sitting in my car! They wanted to ride in a Corvette! Three's a crowd especially in a 2-seater so nothing naughty happened, but I thought it was realy cool! :hurray:

bought my first vette when i was 17.....on the ride home from the dealer ship i hooked up! i have alot of great stories about that summer....some i cant post about! :eek: :jester

Nope, don't need a car to get chicks.......bought it for what it is.........a high performance car. Car does turn heads, once you get them past the car vanity smoke screen, you better have something else to hold their attention....... :lolg:

Nope. I was always impressed with the Vette for what it was-The only American sports car. I never needed a car to pick up females. :yesnod:

I had the best luck with the opposite sex when my daily drivers were sation wagons... :cool:

I must admit, it crossed my mind, but wasn't the reason I bought it.
I think guys are more impressed with nice cars than chicks anyways. Chicks only like a nice car because it usually shows you have some more cash to spend on them.

Always loved vettes for what they were. Bought mine after my divorce. Shoulda seen the look on the ex's face when I pulled up to pick up my daughter! :lol:

NOPE! I could't afford a Corvette when I wanted to meet chicks! Now the only chicks who are impressed with the Vette are the ankle biters.

You might not believe it but that thought never even entered my mind. Ive wanted a vette all my life and thats all there is to it. Personally I havent seen any improvement in that area due to the vette but then again as old and ugly as I am thats no surprise. Besides, and this aint a flame of any sort, but the women that would be drawn to a guy for no other reason than his ride wouldnt interest me anyway. :blueangel:

Nope, wanted a Vette ever since I can remember. I already had and still have a beautiful wife when I bought my first Vette. As a matter of fact my wife is not a car person, she could car less about my Vette.

I got it for the car it is. I was spending a fortune on my montecarlo ss, bigger brakes, tubular control arms, more horsepower, ect. ect. all to get it handle and run better, (so far its come out pretty good) Then one day I realized that the C-4 had come from the factory with all of these things STOCK. the more I thought about it, I wanted one. I had looked & read about em when the C-4s came out. I just couldn't aford one then. This time when I poped the clamshell hood I had to have one........ :steering: :D
