and she tried to say I caused more damage do her car because my 'vette rolled forward about 3' after she hit me going in reverse. She's trying to blame part of the damage on me. Oh I'm so pissed right now... :mad

The same thing happene to me. This lady and I use the term loosley

She apparently dropped something while backing up, not paying attention. :boxing

The side vent has a big crack in it, the door is scuffed down to the paint, and the hood is scuffed up too. That might buff out, but the door is going to have to be repainted, and the side vent needs to be replaced. I just can't believe that she said some of the damage was my fault. Ohhhhh :mad :boxing :boxing

School parking lot. I just about slapped her and told her to shut the f*** up after she starting yelling at my that it was MY fault for pulling forward a few feet after she hit my car. Hey, it startled me like nothing else, and even so, that is NOT my fault. I can't believe she had the nerve, and I still can't believe that I held my temper. I'm still as pissed now, 5 hours later, as I was right there. :mad

The first thing that she said was that she'll pay for the damage, and not to involve insurance company because BOTH of our rates will go up. That didn't sound like a bad idea until she started accusing me of damaging her car. Then I called the cops and filed a report. I have 10 days, and I don't know what I should do yet.

Damn that sucks.
I can't see your insurance rasing your rates because someone hit you. You're not at fault. However, you usually only have 48 hours to report it to your insurance, or they wont be willing to help you. If she acts like she's going to stall on paying you anything, then call your insurance co, and fast.
After all, they are great at sucking blood from a stone. SHe should pay regardless of if you moved your vette or not. You were already thinking of moving when she hit you.
Man people like that really make me angry.
