Just got my SuperRam back from the machine shop. I had it glass bead blasted and cleaned up. I also had them heli-coil the plenum back to the why it can from LPE.
I'm very excited to have it back and have all the holes rethreaded. I started polishing the lid and plan on polishing the runners and plenum as well.
I tried to show it to my girlfriend, but all I get out of her is "thats nice." Not exactly the level of excitement I was hoping for. So now I'll share with you guys/gals.
My nice and clean parts
A pic of the new heli-coils
My dog Nero enjoying the polishing job
I had the batwing, knuckles and a few other parts of my Dana 44 swap glass beaded before installation. I like that type of finish. Your lid looks nice too. Good luck with it all.
SR's are badbehind! do u plan on painting the runners or base like some owners do? personally i like he aluminum look best with the polished lid.
