'90 Speedometer Problems
Yesterday I noticed that the digital display (speedometer, gas gauge, odometers) on my '90 started to fade. It looks like it's fading in horizontal bands. It's still readable but it's obvious that I've got a problem that will have to be fixed.
Can this digital unit be repaired or should it be replaced? The other analog gauges (temps, oil pressure, voltmeter) work fine.
I looked in some of my catalogs but I didn't see anything except repair/replacements for earlier ('89 and back) C4s but nothing for '90 and up. Any suggestions as to where to how to get it fixed/replaced? Is it a major job and what should I expect to pay?
