Anyone buy ZR1 wheel & tire combo. from O.E. Wheel Distributors/ Sarasota Fla.?
They've Been on e bay for a long time. Thinking of getting a set for my 86. How is the quality of the wheel? How do you like the Falken tires that come with them? Did you have any trouble getting them balanced right? Any other problems?

I did NOT buy the tire/wheel comobo.. just the polished ZR1 wheels. The quality of the polished rims are okay, not perfect. I had them send me one wrong sized wheel, and another wheel was out of round, and was a spot where you could tell they had been grinding on it to try and get it right again. But they fixed the problem fairly quickly and I am pleased with the overall wheel. But i hear the Falken tires suck the big one!! What I did was buy the tires and wheels separately and went with the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712s and they're agreat value!! Good luck.

I bought my wheels for m them. I went to there "warehouse" to pick them up and save $80 shipping. I'm very pleased with the whole transaction and would buy from them again.
The reason for the word warehouse is they are located behind a carpet store with a bunch of small containers to hold the wheels. Not very impressive to see but functional. Low overhead.

You don't want to get me started on this one.....BUT THEY SUCK!!!!! Also, the wheels do not resemble ZR-1 style in the 11" design. The wheels are actually made by Detroit Wheels. You can get them anywhere wheels can be ordered. Do a Google search and see.....Did I mention THEY SUCK!?!?!?!

I got mine from them with out the tires. I paid for the silver wheels and they were out so they sent the polished aluminum ones for no extra charge. I got them in 5 days and have been very pleased.
I got my tires from eastcoasttires on ebay and saved even more. Or give Dave a call 888-795-1490. Great customer service and a great deal!
Oh, mine needed very little weight to balance.

I ordered painted ones from them, but they screwed up my order and they had to reorder them so they upgraded me to polished at no charge. The quality is good, not Bloomington Gold quality but good. They make a world of difference on the car vs. the stock rims. I treaded them with Kumhos locally and I am very happy with them.
