Like I said, I have no job. My vette is parked because if I sell it within a certain period of time to get another car, my dad wants half the money. I have $0/month to get by on, just what's in my savings/checking accounts.

Since buying my vette almost 10 yrs ago, my financial situation has cycled high to low to medium, etc. During lean times seeing that CORVETTE in the garage has sure boosted my ego. Alot more than just a car to me for that reason alone.

I really don't think you should just restrict this question to C4 owners. JohnWiz owns a C5 and can barely afford enough clothing to cover his wife's essentials! See his postings in the Corvette Babes section. :D

I'm retired and on a fixed income at age 53. I'm so poor my 16 year old son has to ride along in the Lingenfelter and hang his head out the window and pant because I can't afford a dog, a job my wife can't do because she's too tired from working every day..........
