Congrats on picking up a sharp vette at a decent price! I would switch over to synthetic and go thru the car...belts, hoses, tranny fluid, tune up...etc. :)

I to just bought a 95 (polo green) with 59k on it, I do not know what oil they did use but when I have changed the oil I use 10-30W Mobil 1, just like the book says. A lot of TLC will keep your vette running like clock work. :flag

Re: Bought a 95 coupe! (Yello95)
Thanks for all the great feedback. I am really enjoying the car. We have been blessed with several days of clear skies. I took it out for a long spin last night and the car is simply amazing. The acceleration is super as is the handling. This is my first sports car so I guess I dont have much to go on to compare but it seems like another league on the street. I need to figure out a way to a track to do much more than I have already:) The car does work for you when you exercise your passing options....
Again thanks for all the welcomes. I really enjoy reading the posts here and I am trying to learn a lot before making any real changes to the car. As it stands right now...I am quite satisfied:)
