Possibly selling my baby.
I may have to sell my baby. She's a 96' Polo Green LT4. I don't want to sell her but I have orders to Sasebo, Japan after I graduate college. I want to know if ya'll think it is a good price and if I will have any luck.
I would like to get 18K for it. It has 64,400 mile and has some minor stuff done to it. It comes with a Hypertech programmer, K&N filter and open box, Autovation pedals, throttle body coolant bypass, and some minor interior touches. I am only the third owner. It is in good condition with normal wear. I have lots of pictures.
Just let me know what you think please. I really don't want to let her go considering I have been waiting for this my whole life but I have no choice. Let me know what you think. I will probalby let it go in late November or December. Still debating. Thanks for the comments.

I say keep it if you possibly can. That way you'll have something to look forward to when you come back home!!! If you don't have to sell it for $$ reasons, maybe there is someone who can store it for you. Maybe even a forum member. And thank you for serving our country! :seeya

Why sell it? I know that you can have a Vette there on Gov't orders...there are a couple of guys on this site that had their Vetter there.

Re: Possibly selling my baby. (90EXPVette)
The biggest reason I am selling it is for money reasons. It make more sense to put money that I would be spending on a payment and putting it into a CD or other account. Also 0 insurance, there would be a small amount even if I stored it. Last, when overseas I can purchase another corvette, at the end of my tour, for practically factory cost.
Thanks for the input. I'm going to Sasebo, Japan on an LPD. Having a vette over there just doesn't make good money sense. Thanks again for the input, and thank you for the support. I'm looking forward to Japan.

Re: Possibly selling my baby. (corvetteronw)
No thank you for your service, which I assume was in the Army. I can't wait to get to Japan and start stuff on my ship. Now I just have a couple of weeks of school left. I wish I didn't have to let the LT4 go but it is just better. I hope I find a buyer that is worthy of the car, if I was.
Thanks for the input.
