Default painting plenum/valve covers

i want to put some accents in my engine...thinking about red striping in the indents of the plenum and vavle covers (and maybe later, red plug wires) what kind of paint will withstand the heat? and does it come in "paint pen" style stuff? any one ever done this? hows it look?

I did that with my old ones before going chrome.... I just used enamal paint... and worked, the valve covers really don't get that hot... just be careful cleaning them before you paint..
