I went to Walmart twice now to find a set up drive up ramps for use in my garage :D

The first time I went in last week I was informed that the ramps had sold out :sad: and more would be in on Monday morning.

Well; I went in today to find out if Walmart had gotten the ramps in....No ramps...but this is what I got for my effort to try and spend money in Walmart.

Me... "Hi...can you please help me find the drive up ramps for cars in your auto care section?"

store person #1..."no speaka da English" :eek:

...store person #2.... "Me soddy notta speak t English" :mad

store person #3.....
"I not know aaa.....um....aaaa..whatta.............. ..rampa is"

ME:mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad

NOW I'M PISSED!!!!...so I say to store person #3..."you go get your BOSS" that they understood all too well :mad :mad :mad

15 minutes later the GM of the store comes out. I explaned to him in very nice calm terms the importance of having "ENGLISH" speaking store clerks in the store to "HELP"...the customer. Hell I even bought the guy a Coke while we were walking around talking........I'll tell ya folks...I might as well be talking to a two year old kid :eek: atleast then I could get a reation out of the kid. The GM couldn't have cared less...and if thats the way the GM of this store is...no wonder he's got shnit for workers

That is the last time in God's great world that I will ever set foot in a Walmart again...unless I absolutly positivly have to :nonod: :nonod: :nonod: :nonod: :nonod: :nonod:

I'm done....now where the hell do I go to get a set of ramps :confused:

I built my ramps out of 2x12's as 275's wouldn't fit up the store bought ramps...

Built them in 89, still work fine :)

Another Wal-Mart? No seriously. I have one right by my house and it's a good one. They are always stocking selves and helpful. I've been to some and you are absolutely right!

I bought mine from Kmart but looking through their web site I couldn't find 'em. :nonod:

The autoparts stores around me carry the plactic (Rhino?) ramps.

The only other place that I know of that carries the yellow steel ramps with the black plastic extentions is Griot's Garage.

I live in a part of the country where we don't have that communication problem, but the brain scientists they hire there are just that... not too helpful even when you can talk to them. And the GMs are usually rocket surgeons too... :banghead:

I purchased those Rhino Ramps from Walmart, ended up taking them back. Since we've "painted" our garage floor they just kept scooting forward as we drove the car forward. I Found a 3 ton jack at Costco for under $100 that slides under the car quite nicely, bought a couple of jack stands, problem solved.

Ramps............we don't need no stinking ramps!

Try: Yo quiero algo , como se dice, valve seals. If that doesn't work, fall back 10 yards and punt as they are dumber than the seals. :D
