Any Takers? Found out how much the 84 eyesore is...
So today I talked to the guy selling the beauty from http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=794454
Its an auto 84, 110k miles, mostly stock technically speaking (new master cylinder, a few tiny bits)... and a whole lotta pinstriping. It was outside today so I stopped by to get the phone #, to see how much he wanted for it. Call him, and he proceeds to say, "let me put it this way, I got it appraised for $18,500." WTF! I asked him why he thinks that is, being that my 92 with 39k ain't worth nearly that much... "Oh, its technically a Custom Corvette. There's alot of pinstriping and custom work on it. Did you notice the interior? Its clean. And the tires and wheels are nice." I replied, "Uhm ohhkay, so how much do you want for it?"
.
..
...
$10,000. Any takers?? :D I have his number.

$18,500? Who appraised it? Some guy off the street? I think that's just wishful thinking on his part.

No. No takers. I'll just chalk that car up to a bad dream and hope it goes away. Seriously, that is hilarious! Thanks for sharing that. :D

It most definitely captured that mid-80s look  :U
You should get a price reduction for that chit on the car.

I bought a 4+3 coupe new and it was a wonderful car. Twenty years later, it is a sled. $4,000 tops and that is stretching it, worth the money only if it is immaculate inside and out, stock with excellent rubber on it. Otherwise, it is a beginners C4 to get someone started up the ladder. My $.02.

Ditch the louvers and it's probably a pretty clean car. However, that being said my 92 only cost me $16k I'll take the newer car and the performance too.
