Who sells VX6 battery additive?
Hi,
Before everyone jumps down my throat for believing in additives, allow me to explain. Years ago I actually bought and used this product from a local car parts store in So. Cal. It Worked! Had a battery with a dead cell and no money for a new battery. Used this stuff and I gained two more years of battery life. (Actually, I sold the car with that same battery in it. For all I know, it's still working.) It's just a simple chemical principle where the vx6 chemicals counter-act the lead sulfate, thus keeping the lead plates from shorting out inside the battery. Anyway, I'd like to buy some again, and I can't find any here in central Minnesota. JC Whitney sells the stuff, but only by the quart! (It only takes 3 ounces to treat a typical 12 volt car battery.)
So, anyone out there know where I might buy some of this product?
TIA
Glen

JC Whitney (mail order) sells it. $8 for 2 1/2 oz, $25 for a qt., $70 for a gallon. Used my search engine and up popped da devil! :D
