There is a retrofit kit with all the necessary hardware. I got mine from Corvette Central. The kit is a little pricey.

Thanks, what exactly does the kit do? If it is just to hook up the rear defrost I could care less.

It consists of a few plastic brackets and springs to support the glass when the top is down and prevent it from breaking.

The plastic window folds in the center. The kit changes the way the top folds so the glass window fits in the storage area.

In addition to the retrofit kit ($) and the glass window top ($$$), my weatherstripping didn't survive removal, so I replaced that as well ($$). Many people also replace the headliner at the same time (but I didn't). It quickly adds up!

But it's WORTH IT!

Sure wish you'd write a tech tip on what you did. You did do it all yourself?
