anything to hide that ugly clunky stearing wheel... I cant wait to get rid of it.

I got one of those leather deals that you tie around the steering wheel. Nice improvent, but its still ugly and clunky

I have one of those too [wheelskin], it covers the scarred up original wheel.
It fits perfect, and is cheaper than a new OEM wheel that costs about $300.

I don't think however that I would buy another one with the red on it. The red is wearing away revealing black leather underneath.

Hi Lars
I just put a Black and brown cover from wheelskins on mine and I like it. Send me your email address and I'll send you a picture(I don't know how to post them here) and if you like it, I can bring you one when I come back to Schleswig-Holstein(soon). It will be a good excuse for you to drive your Vette down on the autobahn some and get away from that 130 kmh(80 mph) speed limit there in Danmark, plus you won't have to pay that 200% luxury tax and the import tax!! What do you think??

Who wants to pay $200 for a steering wheel cover anyways, would be alot more fun to put some of that money into that $7 a gallon gas and drive down about 50 miles, 30 miles are wide open, straight, flat autobahn, thats what would make me say "WAUU"!!!

You don't have an airbag on yours why don't you just get a new steering wheel? probably be less hassle and cheaper too!

every cover that I have ever used has left me wanting more steering wheel feel... I don't like them, personally. Steering whell covers will stretch over time and can even slip; not a cool prospect when you're going fast. I used to have one on my Vette and finally threw it out. I figure that I'll worry about the steering wheel and simply replace it when it wears out. Until then, I'm saving $$$ for a brake MC.

watch out for the cheapest ones.some of em stink.i mean literally.some kinda odd smell that gets on your hands when you drive.gave one of these cheapies a toss after a month it still stank.it was one that doesnt need tied just kinda stretched on and was 2 tone.
this was on my chev p.u. btw.i like the wheel in my 92 c4.well actually i prefer the aftermarket wheels ive seen some of the guys here run but i cant see doing away with an airbag to use one.now if the bag was bad or didnt have an airbag oem i would be grasping an aftermarket wheel by now.

I have a wheelskins brand cover on mine. I love it. If it is put on correctly - there is no way it will slip.

The Wheelskin I put on my '85 wheel was the best thing I could have done for that wheel. It's tight, snug, and never moved. It actually gave the wheel a heftier grip. I sold that wheel on Ebay when I bought a Momo wheel. Still got $125 for it. They are the best cover on the market IMO. Why can't someone here just ship you one? Just claim it's a defective item being returned? I don't think they'll nail you for the fees (taxes) if worded properly.
