89 Paint Color

89 Paint Color
Trying to find touch up paint for an 89 Vette, exterior is a light blue. The codes on the RPO sticker in the Console glove box are WA8770 U8770 212. I know the 212 represents the interior blue leather; but on all the sites I looked could not find the name of the exterior blue. The Duplicolor book I looked in did not list this # either.

The Cor-vette Specs 1984-1996 book by Michael Antonick lists only two shades of blue for 89.
Code 20 Medium Blue Metallic
Code 28 Dark Blue Metallic
Code 20 on 925 coupes, 503 verts
Code 28 on 1,223 cooupes, 698 verts
An interesting footnote: "....pilot builds of 8 yellow (code 35) coupes, 24 Arctic Pearl (code 31) coupes, and 3 Arctic Pearl convertibles."
If anyone has an 89 with these colors then it is one rare car!
