Default Temperature Question

I have a 94 with 76000 miles. No major mechanical problems besides a slight oil leak. I was wondering what the normal engine temp was because this week mine has been around 236-240 degrees. I could have sworn it used to operate around 218-220. Just checking to see if anyone knows if this is abnormal and if so, what might the problem be.
Thanks

Have you checked between rad and condensor for a build up of crap, leaves, bags etc.

If its a hot day - it will go very close to the hot mark.
Also, for safe measure, make sure you don't have any old plastic bags wedged up in your radiator or a bunch of leaves.

Kick the AC on and that will trigger fans quicker and not let the temp go up as much.

Agent and XLR8 are right ont he mark, the C4 was made to run hot.... Try seeing if something has gotten in the radiator area and is blocking some flow, mine would get to 230 easy while sitting in traffic.
