*F/S Vetronix TECH1 Scan Tool
Selling my beloved scan tool. This is a used Vetronix Tech1 (not a Tech1a) OBDI scan tool. The only difference as far as I know is the Tech1a has an additional RJ11 port to hookup a computer, which is really only good as a larger screen with some data capture ability.
The unit is fully functional and works great. Some cosmetic defects, faded label, one of the buttons is dented. The cord is wrapped in electrical tape at the base. It is not punctured, this was done to strengthen the cord. The backlit LCD is not cracked but has some minor scratches that do not affect display.
I am selling with the GM Vetronix Mass Storage cartridge P/N 3000003. Using the mass storage cartridge included you can diagnose GM 88-96 Powertrain/chassis/body codes and GM 81-96 Powertrain codes. GM 90-96 Service Programming and GM 91-94 J/L/N. With the Mass storage cartridge, you won't need the individual cartridges you see being sold in Tech 1 kits or separately, which makes this just about perfect for a C4 corvette. Ebay can be a good source for cartridges for other applications
The great thing about this tool over cable and laptop methods is that it has 2-way communication. You can use this tool to overide the ECM and turn on/off functions while the engine is running. IE set the IAC motor where you want it. I used it last week to diagnose an intermittent check engine light on my 94 lumina. The car has a stupid EGR valve with 3 solenoids. I was able to use this tool to actuate each solenoid individually and find the one that failed. Almost paid for itself right there as the complete EGR is a $200 part from the General.
$400 shipped to your door. Will entertain offers. Here's pics.

It should. It connects to mine (93 coupe), and should do all 88-96 chassis/body/powertrain. If for some reason the Mass Storage Cartridge won't there will be a specific cartridge that will. Ebay usually has lots of cartridges but the actual tool only comes up now and then.

I have seen the cartridge go for $125+ on eBay and it is $400 from the dealer. Current software is $1300 from dealer. Dropped price to $425, there is one party in line for that price, if he refuses I go to next in line.

Sorry, that was "Bosch ABS" adapter for DLC plug under dash....Then you can use the "Mass Storage", "body", or "brake" modules, covering 1990...The adapter is available at Vetronix online store, less than $30..
