The only thing needed to make it work is the c-beam right? Do you have it?

if you are doing a conversion you will need the driveline too.

What trans are running? There is a length difference for the conversion, although very small.
I did a turbo 350 swap and changed the diff to a 44 and modified the auto c beam and had a local driveshaft shop make me new one. But his is a race only car, so fab work was part of the project.

to do a d36 to d44 conversion you will need rear with batwing, driveline, and c-beam. i just did this conversion myself.

The driveshaft is 1 inch shorter for the manual trans car, so you could have yours shortened or find a used manual trans car shaft.
