Burning Brakes
Are you accepting only DOT-issued license plates? If not, I have an old Florida aftermarket plate from, I believe, 1974. It says "ARRIVE STONED", a play on the original AAA "Arrive Alive" safety campaign back in the day.
I had it on the front of my first car, a '65 Impala. It even has some genuine Fla. love bug stains in the paint.

Try old fashion liquid laundry soap of about 80% water. Elder bugs breathe thru the skin plugs em up knocks em dead, or cut down the female tree, ones with the seed pods. Work great for me. No more bugs
.)

I might have some OLD Maryland plates... 1940s, 50s, 60s...
might need a few pennies for them...

This project is finally re-firing up now that my daughter is moving out, and I'll have my garage again, so I'm still needing a bunch!
