I have a 1996 coupe and need a tire sensor for the right rear, (pass side rear). I'm told the GM part # is; 88959447. It is black with an orange tag. Would you have that particular one?? Thanks, Buddy

The GM part number you quoted is the newest number GM used when they changed numbers. The same sensor's previous number was GM10161857; why GM chaged it I have no idea. Don't purchase a TPS without one of two numbers as the unit with a different number is probably for a pre 1993. The pre 1993 right rear number is GM 10098496. Both have orange labels.

Mtnvettes, that's correct re the part#'s. From what I understand the part # changed for the 96 model because the supplier for that year also changed. There was also another supplier earlier, that's why there is so many numbers and confusion. There has to be someone out there that has saved the correct one for the 96.

On your '90 what color label and number on the label do you need. I have 1 NOS and 3 removed at maybe 30K or less miles.

Did a sensor break or did a band fail?
