Ladies and Gentlemen - we've just developed a solution for STEERING WHEELS PADDING! WooHoo!!!
A specially resized wheel wrap along with specially selected padding foam underneath will make your wheel aprrox. 1/8 to 3/16 inch thicker. What's even more, the foam we use has a very small compression factor so No smooshy feeling of a soft wheel some upholsterers out there offer. Just a firm and sporty grip All in all... it will be PERFECT!

That's only because we build our portfolio based on customers' interest - we develop new product when we find somebody interested in sending us his wheel for prototyping.
We already have C5 and C6 whels from some forum members and one C4 wheel soon to come.

So far we have template for 4-spoke wheel, late 2-spoke model will be ready tomorrow.
And we are now waiting for earlier 2-spoke wheel sent to us by one of our customers yesterday. So the wrap should be ready within approx. 2 weeks

If I send in my '85 steering wheel, how long will it take to complete and will it be stitched on the wheel or do I have to take care of that myself?
I loved the shift boot that I got from you guys, so now knowing that I can match my steering wheel makes me giddy

I decided to email them. Nice folks to talk with via e-mail. They still have not had anyone send them an early C4 wheel and here's why: You have to ship your wheel both ways to Poland. Even if they do this immediately, you are minus your steering wheel for who knows how long. You also have to put down a $100 deposit, which gets refunded only when you supply pics and/or write up on the process that YOU complete when they send you back your wheel and the cover. Or, you can pay them the $100 to actually do the wrap for you. In any case, you don't get it for free. If you do, it's because you did the wrap application yourself, which you have never done before. Plus the shipping cost is still there. I have not shipped to Europe for a while, but I can tell you it's not fast and not cheap. Maybe someone will do this and we will all be blown away by the results. Maybe RedlineGoods will ask one of us to simply donate a ratty old one that is not in use (or make an investment and buy a crap one on eBay for $25). Then, they can create the wrap, ship some black ones (what 99% of us would want) to the US office, and finally get this business moving for the thousands of C4s that need new steering wheels. As it is...we simply watch this thread keep going and going. Or buy a repro on eBay for the same price. C'mon RedlineGoods. Buy a ratty one and get the ball rolling. Have your skilled techs do the install and take the pics or put the video on YouTube. You are missing out on a huge business opportunity here.
