Hi,

My clamshell hood has been damaged beyond repair. My car is at the auto body shop and they are having a hard time finding a hood in good shape to use as a replacement.

I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation on any non OEM hoods based on fit and function.

Or does anyone have a hood in good condition they are willing to sell.

You should do your research before you try and sell something that could be very costly in your favor. . that hood is from an 85-87 Corvette . Save yourself and buyer time and do research next time. Lt motors have a different mold by the alternator. 88-89 won't work either. Introduction of the Lt5 in 90 and the radiator shroud change in 90 the hood mold has changed . in most cases 90-91 can be used.

I thank you for the info! I was always under the impression the the hoods where all the same 1984-96. Most of the time you see this in add on hood for sale! Have a 96 vette my self and have the hood in the pics and hood from a 89 vette was going to do a trailer! ThanKs John
