Selling a Hurst Short Throw Shifter. This is brand new in the box, never been installed or used. It will fit any 89-96 Corvettes with of course the 6 speed. Below is a link for more information:

From what i understand, no it does not retain the lock out. That was one of the complaints when these were popular back in the day.

I believe the 95-96 vettes had no reverse lock out from the factory. Just think of it as "upgrading" your car

Correct, Hurst shifter does not retain the reverse lock out. 95-96 had the crash through as stated..

I had the Hurst in my 89 and now my 90.. I really like it

I read the install instructions... But in real world, how much of a pain is this to install? Also, what did you benefit from by installing this over stock?

I'm interested in buying but need to find out the difficulty to install.

Been 9 years since my last install of one.. I remember doing the last install in the car.. it took some time, but the first one I did with the shifter out of the car
