Just a nice sound, even thought about the muffler deletes but wasnt sure how loud or how much drone there would be.

speedbyu...I went muffler delete last year, kept my cats, I am very satisfied with my '88 sound. No noticeable drone and when getting on it it does sound off, nice and loud. But, otherwise just a nice low tone burble. Local muffler shop cut off the old cans, replaced with straight pipes, new chrome single 2" tips for $160. I am very happy with how it turned out.

Save your money, the muffler deletes are loud and have a horrible drone, you can get a Magna Flow MPE-12468 muffler with a tru-X pipe for $120.00 to replace your resonator have the tips cut off your existing mufflers and have your muffler technician make your own muffler deletes. It will look better and sound better.

Yes the stock ones are still on the car. What brand are your mufflers?

I have a pair of Magnaflows with low mileage (~15k) that I took off my 96. PM me if you're interested.
