Default Dana 44 3.07 ring & pinion gear set (GEARS ONLY NO DIFF)

I have for sale a 3.07 D44 ring and pinion gear set for sale. Removed for a 4.11 viper gear swap. I got the D44 diff from a craigslist bulk parts purchase of a bunch of C4 rear suspension/drivetrain stuff so I dont know the exact year or mileage of the gears but they look to be in perfectly normal condition to me. $22 plus shipping, buy it on ebay or buy it from me directly via paypal, either way is fine. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dana-44-HD-s...-/191947582875

Well, I would expect so. What else would the difference in the diffs be if not gear size?

I guess I'm asking if the 3.07 Dana 44 will fit in a 3.07 Dana 36 I know the pumpkin is bigger in the 44. I want to swap gears in my car and would love to buy yours but not sure if they would fit in my Dana 36.

Dana 44 ring gear is larger in diameter than a Dana 36 gear.

additionally there are 2 thicknesses of gearsets for the D36. The D36 cases that came with a 3.xx ratio use a different thickness ring gear than those that came with 2.xx ratio gear sets.
