Exhaust Diverter valve
Looking for the one that goes to the pipe leading to the cat. Lower mileage one preferred. Please post a price and pic if you have a known good one to sell.
Thanks!

I have a bunch of smog parts from an 88 not sure if same parts. I have a diverter valve but I'm not sure if it's the one that fits your car do you have a picture of what you're looking for

I have a really nice one too (for an 89) but it looks like 85-87 is one design while 88-91 uses another.

The one I need goes directly to the pipe feeding into the cat. It has a strange kind of band clamp holding it on...just like the one that fastens the EGR crossover tube..... different from the other 2 that feed into the exhaust manifolds...

I did get it...Thank you! I'm in a bit of a holding pattern right now.... I'm testing the theory that thats the real problem.... I have disconnected the feed tube to the diverter off the air pump and trying to see if that horrendous noise has disappeared. Ive been out driving 2 or 3 times and still all quiet.... I'm thinking its the issue, but not 100% convinced yet.... I will let you know asap.

This is not my car, but this is the EXACT sound it was making with the line hooked up... Only hot did it do it... Like I said, so far, with the air tube not hooked up, it hasn't done it which is leading me to believe it actually IS the valve... One tiny blip of the throttle, and it goes away, but does return...
