You can check your frame for the pre-drilled bolt holes. On the convertibles both front and back holes are present. On the coupes, the rear holes are not present from the factory; there is a 'pocket' in the frame that the block spacers fit into (the parking brake cable on the drivers side has a wire-like hanger there). To install the brace on a coupe, holes will need to be drilled and rivet nuts (Rivnuts) need to be installed so the block spacers and bolts can be installed. You can check your frame to find the front threaded holes. You can use the photo of the brace configuration to help find the front frame holes on your car.

late-'86 and newer c4 Corvette coupes already have the holes in place at the front as that was the first year for the convertible which GM realized they need an x brace and added them. coupe and convertible use the same frame. the x brace fit all year c4's

Hey Ken,
Any chance you could send me the dimensions on the blocks used at the rear and the size on the front and rear bolts? I have a bracket, but the forum member I bought it from didn't have the blocks or bolts.
Cheers,
Mark
