Default 2 wire pigtail for wiper motor

WTB, pigtail for wiper motor, 2 wire....Tried to find new but not having any luck.....
2 wire connector that plugs into wiper motor. As long as it has an inch or 2 of wire left to it i can splice it...Thanks

Must be a very old wiper motor? Part # on label. '87 or earlier only I believe and would need to be the OE.

This is I believe likely correct for an old 2 terminal motor. This is the shell only and Mouser has a couple thousand probably. Pay 'attention' to the 'indexing edge' left side of the retaining tab.

Take a look at this image. Post back and if it's not correct I'll delete the post. Your wires likely PURPLE - GREY?

Post back and I'll give you terminals and seals for the build. I believe I can do that.

The deal is i have an 88. A friend of mine had a brand new one for an 87. Got it for $20. Only difference is the connector. The one i had has a 3 terminal connector but only two wires going to it. And yes, purple on right, grey on left.
I jumped the motor last night and works fine. Cant fit insulated spades in there. Plus im a Marine mechanic, and i keep ALL special connectors from all the brands i work on, and of course, nothing fits it. I even went into the harnesses i kept from my 88 build, and once again, not one fits...
Be more than happy to buy the parts from you, thanks for your help!

You have an email link under your Avatar. I've got some errands to do now but I'll send you an email later in the afternoon/evening. Connector appears correct to you? You should be able to see the indexing required on motor you want to use. There's an email link under my Avatar as well, maybe send me a snapshot of the motor connector cavity.

Yup its a vette one. Same exact thing as my original one except the plug in motor...Weird though also - i have a FSM for 1988, and it shows this style motor (for example, the tabs at the end of the motor you have to bend apart to disassemble..Think maybe my car was an in-between changeover?
On the motor it says 40175. I have the box for it in garage, will go grab it soon...
Heres the motor...

I'm sorry I can't help you. I have a 5049161 which is a GM 'production' number for the '88+ C4. It's 3 terminal 'for sure'. Date code on mine is X/X/93.

At least you have a snapshot of the 'end cap' posted now for folks to look at. The 40175 is a very generic Cardone that has mixed applications. Maybe a quiz for CC asking them what's in their box.

The actual 'end cap' in a '84 - '85 looks like what you've posted and I know there was a wire/harness used so maybe someone with an OE can actually help you. In your post#8 the short harness looks correct for an early car and the connector I posted is a fit to that short harness. The wiring diagram I used is of a harness and not component connector. You've got good info out there now for guys to look. The way the motor is assembled with the 4 tabs bent as they are in your snapshot adds to the visual confusing ID of the motor.

How you adapt whatever to your car harness I'm certainly not sure of.

GOOD LUCK!!!

This is the harness that was used '84 - '87 to adapt the motor to the body harness. GM # 12016892 - that is what's pictured in your snapshot post#8. All '84 - '87 with OE motor should have that. If someone removed a motor for a sale less the pig-tail they could help you!! If there's a bunch of JY in the area many would work for you. Take the motor with you and look at '82 - '88 many GM. An F-body '86 & '87 used the harness as pictured.

Didn't mean to ruin your day!!
