WTB: Muffler Eliminators
#3
I just did this mod on my '92 LT1. I took my car to my local muffler shop and it only cost $100. The shop even had an extra set of LT1 tips to put on the straight pipes, so I could keep my original mufflers/tips intact.
This is by far the best bang for the buck mod you can do. I have some droning in 6th gear at 65, but it goes away at higher speeds. The sound on the overrun in 2nd and 3rd is a symphony of pops, burbles and woofs. I love it!

You can still buy them new for around $150 from Ecklers or Corvette America etc. Might be best to buy a new set. The sound is fantastic as mentioned above. I never really had any drone issues in my 84 that had the eliminators. I quite liked the sound.
