late C4 (89-96) targa top, Bright Red, excellent shape
Selling an original fiberglass targa roof top from a 1992 C4, “Bright Red” in color. I bought this from a fellow CFmember who was sure it was “Torch Red” for my ’96. When I installed this top on my own ’96, that’s when I discovered it was the wrong red for me, and the other CFmember wouldn’t take it back.
CONDITION:
Paint:
Paint is original (according to the previous seller), and in excellent shape. Overall, I give it a 8.5-9/10. On the back edge (the part that would be hidden when installed) you can see some small paint chips/rubs. Other than that, no other imperfections I can find, especially on a 25+ year old top.
Headliner:
Probably one of the best headliners I’ve seen on a C4 top – no sagging, all intact, very tight/snug.
Weatherstripping:
Also, some of the best I’ve seen. No visual cracking, in excellent shape.
Asking $625 local pickup on Long Island (Nassau, or Suffolk Cos.). I am willing to drive a bit to meet you if need be. Prefer not to ship. Storage bag not included, although I have been storing it in the bag indoors.
