Default Be careful buying parts from Vette2Vette

Vette2Vette has owed me money for over 6 months now with numerous empty promises to get it to me. They shipped me the wrong parts, so I sent them back on my dime after they told me they would give me a refund for the parts (I didn't even complain about having to pay shipping when it was their fault). All they had to do was credit my CC. A couple months pass, and nothing. I call and remind them a couple times, still nothing. Finally the last time I called they say they can't credit my CC. Ok fine....so they promise to send a check. This was a couple months ago. My CC company is now handling it.

What is the deal with these guys?

Vette2Vette, if you're out there...just give it up already. I will get my money one way or another...just cooperate with the CC company so I don't have to waste any more time on this.

Thanks for the FYI- I actually just submitted a request on the website! I'll have to think twice if I get a response though....

I am disappointed to hear this. I bought some seats from them thru ebay and everything was great. I hope they set things right for you.

Bought some 87 steering spindles from them for my big brake upgrade and they were everything they said they were. Very helpful and reasonable.

Sorry for your misfortune, but I've dealt with vette2vette a couple times and have only good things to say about them.

Gary, are we getting the full story here? There have been over 290 views of this thread and all posts are positive from other customers of vette2vette. Something is simply not adding up.

I will add this......

I buy from Vette2Vette almost weekly. I have communicated with TJ & Jason many times in many ways. They are very understanding and helpful. I have found that when you deal with any company on a regular basis, you are once in a while going to have a problem. We had some miscommunications during their move, but as long as the lines of communication went both ways we were able to get things worked out. On the few occasions that there has been a problem with a part, TJ has been great about shipping a replacement no questions asked.

I for one feel that they are very good people to work with and will continue to buy from them when necessary.

I do not think we need to get into a "he said, she said" deal, but I can only hope that TJ or Jason will find some time to come in here and tell there side of the story.

That way all of the members can get "The rest of the story".

   To V2V for great service and pricing.

   To Gary K, I hope you can get things worked out with V2V.

I've had both good and bad experiences with them... they had parts in great shape at good prices, but also sent me the wrong item once and took way too long on another so I had to cancel my order - and then had problems getting my money back. But they did refund it, just needed some reminding. I still recommend them to people.

Ok, I finally got the money back from them. Yeah, I guess everythings great if they ship you the right parts, but if they don't its a pain to get your money back. They tried to say that all parts are sold as is, but when you get parts for the wrong car I don't see how that applies. Doesn't matter though, they did finally get it done. I won't go back to them, and I hope that in the future they are better about fixing their mistakes.

BTW, any of you that doubt my story, I can give you all the details if you want, starting from when I first called them. As far as comparing stories, I can already tell you that theirs won't match mine because she was making some false claims when on the phone last. If you screw up, fine, nobody's perfect. But don't try to get out of it...own up to it (which they did, but then kinda changed the story), make it right (took over 6 months) and go on, then everybody will be happy. I'd also like to add that I did receive a few messages and emails from people that had the same problem, but apparently aren't as vocal as I am.

Strange,
I haven’t had a problem with them.
I hope it a big misunderstanding
