I'm running Hooker 2151 long tubes on my LT1 - I had them ceramic coated by Jet Hot. These are 1 3/4" headers designed to be used on the L98 corvettes but they fit the LT1 great with no problems and the spark plugs are even accessible. They go on and come off pretty easy but you might want to use different sized header bolt heads so that they'll clear things easier.
