He's letting in unmetered MAF air into the TB and into the crankcase.
I think he'd pick up a few HP if he threw both of those breathers away and put the 'ugly' pcv vent hose back on.

Nicely done....but very ugly choice of color combos. Yellow and chrome would have been better. Hell even god awful brown and chrome....just not yellow and brown.

I have the stock air filter system with K&N filter in my '91. Does this type of air filter system add, subtract, or simply "beautify" the performance of the car? If it does increase performance what is the name so I can look into it?
