It's easy, about 4 bolts and the coolant hoses if you haven't bypassed that already.
However, opening up the TB is part of a system to get more air into your car. You will probably notice nothing, but if you do your intake, heads, and TB together you will gain lots of HP.
If you found one cheap on ebay or something, then sure, throw it on. It won't hurt. You will then be ready to support more airflow when you do the rest of the system.
