Looking at updating the inake system on my 91 with automatic and eventually having the heads done with a cam. Mods so far:
Magnaflow Catback
3.54 gears
Cut lid with K&N filter
180 thermostat
TB bypass
Excluding a super ram which intake runners/system is the best?
Accel?
Edlebrock?
SLP?
TPIS?
Several people have had good success with the Accel base with AS&M LT runners (see Vic'89's results).
If you want higher revs you might try the siamese intake base mod. After you siamese the base runners you could port the base for even better flow. I've done this with good results (result details & dyno pulls on my site).
You'll find that the ones sold by some people are just repackaged versions of castings made by others. I believe TPiS sells the AS&M runner, but to tell the truth you cant go wrong with any and you should really pick on price and availability.
