I read on the Impala forum I get on, that the caps and rotors are shipping. They are pricey, but very well made.
The big hype now is the complete MSD opti. Form their literature, it is going to be bulletproof. But they are so backed up on orders for the cap and rotors, that the complete unit is going to be delayed, also.

My original opti was still going strong at 93K miles when I replaced it while doing major engine work. The new one has been working fine for over 20K miles now. Maybe by the time it craps out, the MSD unit will actually be available!
